From Ubuntu 7.10 to Ubuntu Studio 8.04….

The method we will follow is that upgrade it to 8.04 then install the meta package of ubuntu studio.

>>sudo update-manager –dist-upgrade

otherwise

>>sudo update-manager -p

and for studio

>>sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio-desktop ubuntustudio-audio ubuntustudio-audio-plugins ubuntustudio-graphics ubuntustudio-video linux-rt
